I keep skim reading this thread title and every time my brain pictures a Shaman oozing goop out of it and for a split second it kinda breaks my brain a little.


It's out of stock because it's awesome. Best choiled knife Spyderco makes IMO. Shaman > Para 2 all day long.

I do wish the Shaman had a bit of the back end grip hook the Millie/PM2 has. Next time I have a PM2 apart I’ll lay a scale over the shaman and see how it looks.

I think it has not been in stock lately. There have been no reports of in stock/out of stock for I think over a year--ever since the sprint run in micarta/cruwear last year this time.

Im getting the feeling that spyderco is using up all the s30v and will roll out an upgrade with s45vn....who knows. Im tempted to wait and see, do I try for the bhq m4/micarta drop or wait and see on the s45vn, or snag a s30v if I still can?....decisions

I'd go for the M4 exclusive. You can always get an s30v model down the road, but the exclusives are usually a one and done offering.
