Good knife shops in Salt Lake City
Check out Skaggs Public Safety at 3900 South Main St. (I think that's where I first saw the Police models, etc. in person that got me really interested). I also go to Sportsman's Warehouse, and Gallenson's Gun Shop; Gallenson's had several Spydie models the last time I was there. Also there is General Army-Navy Outdoor store at about 5400 South and Redwood Road (1700 West). I don't know that we have any stores here that sell only knives, but you might find something you like at these I've mentioned. There are others, but these are the ones I've been to recently. Got my first Rescue at Sportsman's warehouse. Don't have all the addresses right now--my truck just knows how to get there.
I visited SLC last April. Before going I did a search on the "Find a Dealer" section and found L. Lorenz Grinding at 29E 4th South. I didn't have a car nor much time so walked from my hotel to L. Lorenz Grinding at 29E 4th South. They had a few Spyderco's among other brands. The owner was nice and I spent some time there listening to his stories. More out of courtesy than need I bought a SS Police.
