Atlantic salt has a hold on the handle, what's that for?
Atlantic salt has a hold on the handle, what's that for?
Tried to find the answer online but maybe I was using the wrong key words... What's that hole on the handle used for? Just for keep the weight down or some specific purpose during rescue/dive?

Dear superpog:
Welcome to the Spyderco Forum.
The hole in the handle is a shackle key for tightening/loosening the rigging shackles used on boats. It's also a drying vent.
Stay safe,
Mike

As Mike said it fits the shackle key.
