I’ve always been a fan of the Spydersaw and have used it for kayaking on a few occasions. I decided to take the whale rescue and have my buddy @alley_cat_knives put a handle on it so I could use it in the same manner. During our salmon and trout run in September in Lake Michigan a good cutting tool comes in handy on the creeks. Really looking forward to trying this out!

That is freakin sweet!! You've inspired me! I'm gonna attempt my own recreation. Thanks for sharing Rich.
I collect them all, and use them all! I use the excuse, "I'm trying to find the perfect one", but in reality, they are all perfect in their own way!

Such a cool idea and good inspiration! If I ever find one of these, I'd love to try something similar.

Now you're just showing off!
I do wish Spyderco would use some G-Carta handle material!

Super awesome.
I'm wondering how this blade can get full serrations but the China factory can't do full serrations on a Resilience..
Also just contemplated doing a reprofile job on this and it gave me a panic attack.
