I believe that Busse knives come with an asymmetrical edge intentionally. Check their web site: www.bussecombat.com

Howdy Bindlestiff! Welcome to <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>Land! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
I've seen knives that seemingly had NO bevels from the factory (Opinel #6 is a notable inclusion), and irregular bevels seem to be quite common on cheaper knives. I've never seen one on a <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>, though. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
