The newest iteration (Gen. 5) seems to be influenced highly by Eric's designs. While I wouldn't say he's the sole creditor for its design, he is a mad genius of ergos and I believe his influence stands tall with this one (along with Sal too of course)

I picked up a Native in 2008; one for myself and a pink one for my wife. It was my first real knife, and unknown to me at the time, a purchase that turned into a major hobby.

Eleven years and hundreds (literally) of knives later, the Native is still one of my favorite designs. I actually used the salt version all day yesterday breaking down boxes at my brother's new business. Oh yeah, it is awesome! :D

Has anyone used the CF Fluted version in S90V, or the G-10 versions I am looking at them and was wondering if it is a little easier on the pocket the Grabby FRN on the Salt I own is kind of graaby on the pocket. Particularly the CF

I have the fluted cf/S90V version and its amazing. In pretty much every way, even when sliding in and out of the pocket. A real beautiful piece that oozes quality from Golden. Thanks spyderco
