I think you’ll really enjoy the Manix it’s an awesome knife, I wish Spyderco would use the Ball Bearing lock on more of their knives.
Just a man with a plan and a knife in hand.

Re: Waiting for my new Spyderco Manix2 to arrive today.
Just got it the blade is right in the center and is very very VERY sharp, operation is flawless opens quickly lock works without any sign of dragging or not disengaging.
I just love the Bluple Blue/Purple color it very pretty and really stands out, also the feeling of the of the grip is very good to my hand.
And as always The Knife Center gave me quick delivery and a quality Spyderco knife.

I know the feeling. Really wanted a Spydie flipper so I ordered a Domino, will be stalking the mailman on Saturday, lol.

I got a little crazy waiting for Knife Works exclusive green 204 Military to arrive. I literally left work 4 hours early, so I would be home when it got delivered. I know it’s ridiculous, but I would have been pissed if someone walked off with it while I was at work.
Side note, Knife Works has great customer service and I always get my shipping notifications promptly.

While working in the knife Dept. in 2016 we received a ZT 456 flipper, i really liked looking at it but had not spent much time understanding how to flip it open.brainfriction wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 1:57 pmI know the feeling. I later bought one and that afternoon at home i gave it a few try's at flipping, i did not flip it hard enough one time and it halfway opened, i made the mistake of wrapping my hand around the knife and tried again at a flip.
Well that was a real BIG mistake as the blade and the ZT 456s blade is heavy and sharp, it snapped forward as to close not open and hit my thumb.
I wrapped my thumb in a towel and drove to my V.A. Clinic when asked what cut my finger, i lied said some metal under a shelf.
It was not a real deep cut healed in a week but i sure learned how NOT to flip a ZT 456.

I actually sent an employee to my house to get a knife out of my mail box when I couldn’t get away to get it myself.
We can relate.

This is my favorite mid-sized knife from any maker. I know you will enjoy it. I love the color, too.snapshot2017 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 11:46 amJust got it the blade is right in the center and is very very VERY sharp, operation is flawless opens quickly lock works without any sign of dragging or not disengaging.

Re: Waiting for my new Spyderco Manix2 to arrive today.
I am just getting used to handling it opening and closing it, just like i am doing with my new PM2, but so far i really like the new Manix2.
Both the MP2 and the Manix2 use different locking systems, so i am taking time to get used to both is the first thing i am doing.
But they both feel very solid in my hand so using them, i feel will work very well with whatever the need for them will be.
Re: Waiting for my new Spyderco Manix2 to arrive today.
Love that knife. Enjoy it. Mine came with a lock that was a little stiff but broke in nicely. Love all the jimping on that knife. Can’t tell which would be preferable when working with gloves, the manix or the pm2. Both great, hard use knives.
