Dice Pocket Clip Relocation Problem

#1

Post by cheeseheaded »

So I wanted to move my pocket clip on my Dice from the metal side to the G-10 CF side, and the screws don't seem to be long enough. They screw in fine with no clip, but they won't start with the added width of the clip on the G-10 CF side. Has anyone else run into this?

I don’t have a Dice, but I suggest contacting customer service and let them sort it out for you.

Yeah, I am considering that but wanted to know if it was just mine...if anyone else had tried moving their clip to the other side.

Resolved! I contacted Spyderco, and they seemed to be aware of the issue, as they immediately asked for my info to send out some longer screws. They also nicely included some Threadlocker and a cool sticker. Thank you Spyderco warranty service! My clip is now on my preferred side, and I will be carrying my Dice tomorrow.

Glad to know! I also got some screws and sticker after problem with the Byrd. They do take care the end user if we’re straight and forthcoming, even the budget line buyer. :spyder:

Good to hear about the positive experience. I'm personally so glad I picked a dice when they went on d/c clearance. The ergos are so underrated. It's been in my pocket for the past few days.
