The Spyderco Dragonfly3

#1

Post by Mikael Andersson »

I would like for the next iteration of the Dragonfly to grow to a 2.45'' blade length.

You would have more cutting edge but it would still be in a small package and it would still be legal to carry in the city of Chicago.

I am in. Give me one in CF scales a la Sage 5 and M390, CTS-XHP, S35VN or LC200N and I am even more in.

This was brought up before and I believe it was almost universally agreed that a larger version of the Dragonfly would be awesome.

I'm of the opinion now that every chance I get, I want ZDP, so my vote is for ZDP.

Caly3 fills that spot of a larger dragonfly for me. (Dont mind the pitting on the zdp as knife was lost under 4' of snow last winter.)

I'd like to see just another half inch of blade and handle. No other changes, just elongate it a bit.

I'm excited for that one.

I like the size of the Dragonfly but not the handle. If you compare it to the Caly 3 in the picture above, you can see how the Caly and Native both have a swell where the middle finger goes. The Dragonfly is the opposite, its very slim there. That's why the Dfly never worked for me.

so the little native should be perfect.
