Spyderco Forum Inlay Militarys are in!

#1

Post by lokelani »

Greetings~

They're here and they look great!

I have called or emailed everyone that I have an address or phone number for. I have also put aside a knife or knives for the people whom I have left messages for. For the forum members who I do not have a contact number for, I need you to either call me here at SFO (800-828-1925 ext#106) or email us at sfo@spyderco.com. Right now, all the numbers I have available are under #100. Quantities are limited right now, so first come...first serve. Waiting on another batch to come in from the factory.

I'll be talking to you soon

Aloha~

I have always wanted a Military, are there pictures available? ...Do they come in plain and serrated? I must not have been paying attention, but I hadn't read about these coming out. Have one on the way! Can't wait..Ed.

Hi Patti and thanks again!!

I sent you an E-mail, some ten minutes ago and now I´ll just have to wait, which is very hard. I wish so I had those two babies in my hands right now!

Well, well...

Best wishes from dePaul!

PS In the mean time, You don´t happen to have some pics of those beauties to show us?

Sorry Ed, in my excitement, I forgot to answer you.

The Forum Militaries were offered to us members of this forum sometimes last fall. We signed up and then we´ve been waiting for some 2,5 months.

Considering the low number of posts you´ve sent, maybe you were not a member at that time and therefore couldn´t have signed up for those "pets"

Regards dePaul!

Here's an email reply from Patti:

"The Forum Military was made because of special requests from our forum members. It is the same as our regular Military model, but with an added shell inlay SpyderBug just above the lanyard hole. They are available in plainedge only. There will only be 500 made and they will all be numbered. There have been a certain amount engraved with "Spyderco Forum 2000" and those are the ones that I presently have available (all numbered below 100). Cost is $125.00. Give me a call if you are interested. Our number is 800-828-1925 and my extension is #106."

I went in to look these beauties over. The inlay Spyderco trademark is gorgeous and the engraving makes these especially fine. Snap em up! You won't be disappointed. Also saw the new style Militarys with the missing cross line on the "A" in "Military" Very nice too.
BTW did you catch the price of $125 for the Forum Military? That's less than retail on the regular one!!!!!
John

DANG!!! Oh well, still have nine more fingers!! LOL

Patti just hand picked #67 for me. It's on it's way North to sunny Vancouver.

You guys/gals are a bad influence.

Another great knife! My favorite UPS man just left mine. What a great way to warm up a cold dreary cloudy day.

Thanks Spyderco

My wife took Patti's call and actually passed it on to me. ><g>

If I would have been home I might have gotten a lower number than the #10 I scored.

Waiting "patiently" (yeah right, and salmon don't swim upstream)
