forgive me, i'm learning here, but i see a screwy thing or two also. the sal logo looks off. the little triangle on the lower right is closed. i blew the photo up to confirm. on my manix 2 xl and on the photo of the para on the spyderco website, that triangle is open a bit on it's lower right. and if that's suppose to be g-10 scales, it doesn't look like the g-10 on my manix.

i apologize again for butting in. i do hope someone corrects me if i'm wrong with my observations.

Where's the compression lock? I like how the seller states that "this knife is not from China". LOL
This looks like the fake linerlock version that's been around for quite a while now. I've seen it advertised sometimes as the Spyderco "Paratrooper" and yes, it is fake. Someone please send the seller a message telling him it is a fake and from China. I would love to hear his response. I would but I don't have a Craigslist account. :)

Edit: I noticed the seller left a contact email so I sent him a message. We'll see if he replies. Here's the message:

Hello,

I saw your add for the not made in China Spyderco Paramilitary. I am interested but I would like to see the lock-up to make sure the lock bar is not too warn. Could you please send me a clear picture showing me how the lock bar engages when the knife is open?

Thanks,
-Bob

Probably fake and, even if by some miracle it's not, is it really worth buying used when you can get a brand spanking new one from a reputable dealer for $15 more?
