A pvblic apology & a warning

#1

Post by AllenETreat »

To : ALL -

I wish to address a personal apology to

first, Calyth, for my un-warranted

"e-mail" attack. Second to the "forum",

for my inadequecies. This IS NOT the

first time ( KBR was the first ), point

is, from mid-December to early January

I've been the target of numerous "e"

attack(s) from certain members I'll not

make pvblic as I've redressed them

myself. Post what you will. Warning :

unless you're CLOSE to me ( those few

KNOW WHO THEY ARE.) or have something

in a "business pertinent" way. My advice

is to not "e" me ANYTHING! I too, as

knifepunk & vampyrewolf suffer from

insommnia, am HIV+ & have the attendent

psychiatric problems that usually go

with that "territory". If you want your

"sacred ground" to remain unscathed,

then, I ask YOU ALL to leave me be!

My "OT posts" will end contemporaneous

with this, unless it's willed otherwise.

-AET

Well let me be the first to acknowledge this thread-

It is obvious to me when "things" are troubling and individual. For the reasons-It is none of my business-unless they wish to talk about them...I accept people for who they are-not for what they say or do! I myself should be so perfect.

So I accept your explainsion/apology but wonder if our fellow forum members have the respect to respond!!!

As far as OT topics go-post em' if others do not like them they do not even have to open them up!

The whole thing reminds me of a "PAYTON PLACE" What was the song- "HARPERS VALLEY PTA"

More then enuf' said,
Your friend,
ken

When I first read the post there were no replies yet and my first thoughts after reading it was "ok, no problem "

Then I thought I really don't have anything to add to the post one way or the other so I will just keep my mouth closed so I don't say anything stupid

Then later in the evening I read what Ken posted.

" but wonder if our fellow forum members have the respect to respond!!!"

I for one don't have a problem with anyone or anything that has been posted on the Spyderco Forum.
That includes the OT topics

I don't aggree with e-mail harrass. It's worse than SPAM. It's an open Forum. You should respect other's oppinions, even if you don't like them. You don't aggree with what the guy says, reply if you want, then ignore it if things turn in a nasty way. If it's really a crap, the thread will close by itself.

Agreed. This is a forum, so if you feel like saying something, post it and do not email it.
And just stick to the rule: 'be nice'

Allen,
I repect your opinions and the topics you post thereof. I see no reason for you to go MIA for an undetermined interval due to a couple of bad days. I saw that you and Calyth were going at it, and I felt it best to stay out, not even researching the cause... as such, and seeing it's done with, I see no reason to even give it a thought. It is in the past now.

It is my wish, and I'm sure that of many on this forum, that you stay around and continue to enlighten us.

your friend(and happy to count myself as one),

Apology Accepted.
Making one isn't easy. I made one to my dad recently, and everything is going fine.
If you're imsomniac as you have suggested, then you might want to see a doctor about it. I have and I manage to get back to somewhat normal (except that now I can't wake up early just yet, when I'm off of all drugs)
Sorry for the last posting but I don't check SF as often as BFC.

Sorry to hear of your personal situation. Stay as long as you like, but stay on topic. It is a Spyderco forum after all.

Best regards,
Argyll

Allen: Hope that you are enjoying the "Sunny South" and am sure you know what it is like to be in Connecticut his time of year. Irregardless of our problems, would like to compare them to my day here: 38 degrees and it is like Springtime. Swamped out the garage, tried to clean half-frozen gutters of leaves and ice and played with some new knives. As long as you are alive and sucking air, life is good! Jerry
