Mfg Process

#1

Post by jerryh »

Being retired from the aviation maintenance business - (an extremely 'process controlled' set of events) - I find most mfg/maintenance - (big boy toy fun stuff --say, clearing timber with giant machines) --- very interesting. I took a short look out there and saw some nice Spyderco store videos -- I didn't run across any Spyderco R & D, mfg process, quality control process, etc type videos, (doesn't mean they don't exists :) I just didn't find them. Are there any 'longtime' (or short time) Spyderco enthusiasts' out there who would find such videos interesting.

Seems likely there's not much chance of having the Spyderco 2nds (or 1st) Sale here in Mannford, Ok (where I Live) ------ Anyway, videos would go a long ways toward helping my hurt feelings about the sale not being here. :) :)

Just one of those random thoughts.

Wow. I didn't know these were out there.

I really dig how the assembly folks use the fixtures to assemble the knives, instead of just fumbling around in the air or on a table surface. A totally ingenious idea.

Those BladeHQ Spyderco tour videos are fantastic! An absolute must for every Spyderco fan.

(Also liked the Chris Reeve one... super intense!)
