Any word on the status of the WTC Rescue knives? How do they look?

Saw some in quality control this morning. They looked great! They are starting to arrive and will begin shipping steadily this month.

I'd be surprised if they were at this stage, but then that would be a pleasant surprise, There were >2800 to be produced. Joan Parson is the contact. I believe she's x103 or jparson@spyderco.com. I was expecting delivery 1st Qtr 2003. It sounds like they'll meet that.
