Have I spotted a spyderco knife in use on mars? :eek: Helping to bring Mark Watney home?

It's a Victorinox Hunter Pro ;)

Yeah not a Spyderco.

It's more of an oval, besides, there are plenty of knives that have a round hole.
I could see a Benchmade Vex or something being mistaken for a Spydie aswell.

When I first saw the movie I thought it might be a spyderco as well but when I saw it again I recanted that it was a victorinox.

I have seen some other knives with holes. But this one looked really like a spydie hole, at first glance. Oh well, I'm here to learn. :)

Somebody has to ask. What real Spyderco would you want if you were alone on Mars?

Just saw the "Martian" last night for the first time. Great stuff! I'd probably want to have two Pacific Salts if I were on Mars: one in PE and one in SE. And a Sharpmaker. ;)

I think I'd go with the Warrior, especially since the gloves will be chunky and the guard will prevent any accidental cuts in your suit :p
