Does anyone know of a comparison between a fake Manix2 110V lightweight and a real one?

What you do is, go to a dealer that you know is a legit Spyderco and takes real pictures of the models (not a white background), then you compare it to the one you think is fake.

Man, you don't have a fake. If you do then the Chinese have really upped their game. The general consensus is that FRN molds are far too expensive to replicate so they don't bother. I don't recall seeing any fakes that have FRN handles. All you're doing is making yourself crazy, speculating about something that only Spyderco customer service can tell you about.

I must have missed that one. Still, there's no reason to scour the internet for an answer that only one group of people can answer.

I'm 99.999% sure that there are no fake Manix lightweights.

I'm 100% sure that there are fake "FRN"(not sure of the polymer quality) Delica4/Endura4s out there and the Chinese have been faking those FRN models for over a decade.

I can back up what FCM said and would add fake "frn" Dragonflys and Matriarchs. I have seen some fake Manix's, but they were g10 and the lock looked more like an axis lock.

2 weeks isn't that long of a turnaround, just send them in and be done with worrying. I assume you have other folders you can carry and use in the two weeks?
