EDC Forums has a lot of discussion on carrying stuff. They have a subforum on "how do we carry all this stuff".

They also have a store that has some interesting carry items. I'll take a look there later.

My dad use to have a thing on his keychain that you just pushed a button in and the two parts separated. So you could have keys for your car and say the wife's car.

Not sure where you could buy one but it is low profile and there would be no worries about it coming off on accident.

So i googled key chain connector and this was one of the first images.

Lose the split ring on the right. That is where the chain goes. Go with a smaller ring for the blade on the left bit. Job sorted.

The McGizmo clips are very popular on EDC forums. The smallest one, the pico is only 15mm i believe.

Also, the NiteIze S-biner comes in a very small size that may work well.

Both are good and popular options. Google them both and you will find a ton of info.

McGizmo clip seems like it would be good. Hopefully everything fits together. If you leave the small split ring, I don't see how it couldn't fit.

I have a keyring where I can detach my keys. It's called a Valet key fob. I think many items are made for separating your keys for use with a valet. I think Harley has pictured one above.

How well do you think your fob would work for a Dog Tag knife?

just ordered a 15mm stainless mcgismo clip and a brass ball chain necklace from unique titanium.thanks bearface looks like it will work nicely.I will post pics when they come.the brass ball chain looked very nice I am going to use it for the black one when it comes out I think brass and black would look sweet.they also had a coppet ball chain.my cousin is going to engrave my family crest on it with my little girls, wife and my birth date in roman numerals.with the spyderco spyder as periods after the roman numerals.he is doing this around end of december november.I wanted faster but for I must wait.if you dont have a dogtag yet get one it is very handy and works way better then expected at small cutting task.its even more comfortable them my manbug causr of the wide frame.just fits my hands well.the build quality and materials is excellent.I would like a sprint run steel in h1.if worn allot I suggest disassembling once a month to clean and coat with renaissance wax or mothers carnuba to keep it protected s30v rusts near salt water and you sweat salt water.SAL when is the black one comming out to play?

Well, mine would be very non ideal. It's designed to detach several things easily, I think it's made out of steel, so it is too heavy and big to carry around your neck, and it's not THAT easy to detach. It's in the background of this picture.

Go to AMAZON and ask for "Quick release neck lanyard". A whole bunch of them there. Bound to be one (or many) that will do the job exactly as you want.

got the 15mm mcgismo clip and brass ball chain necklace from uniquetitanium.com for.5$ and the fit is perfect.the clip releases the dogtag very easy and is sturdy enough to hold it without worrying.the brass ball chain necklace is perfect and looks amazing.I would only get 15mm clip for necklaces its perfect size and the 25mm for key chains.mcgizmo als makes titanium clip but its expensive.I paid allot for my titanium ball chain cause the stainless steel ball chain necklaces rust very fast.the brass ball chain necklace doesnt rust and it was 2.99$.this combo is perfect for the dogchain.very easy to clip off.I will get the copper ball chain necklace for the black dogtag when it comes out.I think it will look good.so get these thing from uniquetitanium.com very reasonable priced with fast tractable shipping.you wont be sorry the dogtag looks great well built and functional.get it engraved also no one will no its a knife.I get loads of compliments and then they are floored when the see its a knife.I will post pics when I get mine engraved.sal when is the black one coming out.I think I will wait to get that one and get them bith engraved at the same time
