Timex Adventurer SS. Nearly impossible to kill, waterproof to 50M, and keeps perfect time. I can set it to the bell tower at Uni in January and it'll be perfect that December! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Never underestimate the impossible.

Ahhhhhhh yes...<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Watches...gotta' love 'em.

My *favorite* watches at this moment would happen to be the Fossil line. I have 3 of them so far, and I might be getting another one soon. One of them is the Blue Series; the second a Klediscope; and the third a really snazzy-looing one that looks kind of 'retro' by my admission. (It has an oversized leather band with a small granite colored face on the watch).
My friend buys Fossils like they are candy. He just got a new Blue model on Saturday at the mall.

Keepin' it real,

Michael

Aside from my old American made RR pocket watches and a 1972 Wakman Gigandet Chrono, Like my Seiko Kinetic Auto Relay SS sports and my Citizen Eco Drive Perpetual Sports. Put the Citizen up in the Winter since it runs off sunlight and keeps going to sleep under my sleeves. Both can be put to sleep for about five years and wake up to the correct time. Both are supposedly good to 200M. Talk about progress! But then a few years ago we couldn't correspond with someone on a computer (with pictures) from
Kuala Lampur.

Sam, you need the new Casio "Tough Solar" G-5600. Here's a review a friend of mine wrote:

I alternate between a Seiko military/field watch, and a limited edtion Casio G-Shock DW-5000 re-issue.

My favorite timepiece is a silver Illionis Pocket Watch from 1904 in excellent shape. It is a early try a a waterproof case, although I never tested it. Wind it daily and it keeps killer time.

My fiance gave it to me and now she hates it becuase of the constant ticking. Old pocket watches are great and fun to collect. I only have one, but I intend and correcting that problem. And the problem of only having two spydercos as well.

God Bless, Phillip

Well all I seem to wear anymore is my TAG chrono kinetic, nothing like heavy watch and knowing its there. hehe. Also have a Bulova titanium chrono kinetic. Tried to wear it the other day, it's so light I had to keep checking to see if it was still there.

Gotta hang with Samo on this one. Can vouch for water resistance to 240 feet on a "bounce dive". Watch is practically Java-resistant!! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Base exchange was out of 5600s when it was given to Java the Younger as an "heirloom". Had to go with the DW-6900 Illuminator. Miss the larger LCD readout of the 5600.....

G Shock 5600 all the way! -And I too have my eye on a tough-solar version. It's the Endura of watches.

(What then would be the "Military&quot<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

my favorite watch-

it would be a cheap-----"Timex Expedition"
black face,50m water resistant (deeper than i'll ever go), with date, alarm, Indiglo back light- glows in the dark real good -
and 'takes a lickin' and keeps on a tickin'.

quick story--i use to work in a warehouse driving fork lifts, one worker gets on the fork lift and catches his watch (a timex) it falls off his wrist and he doesn't know and drives over it- there wasn't a hole lot left no hands ect. but it was still ticking. don't know if it wad telling time but it sure was funny.--------ken
