I know this knife was recently discontinued but I spotted one or two a couple of months ago but can't find any now. Anybody seen them for sale still anywhere?

Hi Lance, there's one up on eBay right now that looks legit (cue eBay bashers...). I've developed a pretty good nose to sniff out the rare ones, and I don't see ANY anywhere else. Personally, I would snag the one on eBay, but that's me and I know many folks think eBay is Hades incarnate, but when Spydies become uber rare, sometimes you just have to break down and pay the Fiddler so you can dance! Good luck Gringo!

I gave mine a light grey makeover:

Shucks, sorry, you are correct, I misspoke. I glanced at it quickly, add to that the poor unzoomed resolution of my phone and you get me spouting off. Sorry again, I feel like a turd for that.

No worries! Just thought my sniffer was off! There was a rush on them when they were announced to be disco'd, so I'm really not surprised they're super scarce. It's a rocking model after all (all varieties!)! Cheers, Radioactive :)

Probably not much use to you but Heinnie Haynes in the UK have that knife in stock. They ship worldwide. If you can't find it anywhere else and don't mind paying the extra $ then maybe it's an option.

Amongst us European collectors they are a very well respected company.

Seems like they only have the regular CE version, not the black DLC version...

Many dealers still sell them and the secondary market always has a few of there here and there ;)

That's the whole point of this thread - Lance wants to know who these dealers are. Of all the standard dealers (some 12 to 15 I know of), not one has one in black DLC CE. You could also try the BF exchange, but I really doubt they'll come up too often :( .

They have it in stock you just have to click on the correct blade color and blade type boxes. It comes to £158.95 ($268) + shipping

Cool, thanks for the info. For that price, one could get a Ti or even a fluted Ti version here in the US. $270 seems super expensive!!

Yeah, you would have to really want this knife to pay that price for it. Unfortunately collecting Spydie's over here is an expensive hobby, lol. My PM2 was about $190 and Delica4 about $100.

My awesome b&m Mark's Outdoors of Vestavia, AL has one that has been there a while. Google them and call and ask for Randy Yerkas. Mention my name, Jeremy from the forums, and he will hook you up. They have no internet sales but will ship. I can assure you the one they have is perfect with zero play and early lock up.

I sent him the members e-mail if he still wants the knife. I am a member there and gave the seller a heads up.
