Emerson Endura Wave: Can I get an Assurance or is this silly?
I understand that markets and desires in knives change, and products being discontinued is an unfortunate fact of life for modern manufactured items, but, can I be assured that Spyderco will continue to produce the Endura with Emerson Wave Opener, as a standard product for years to come? I mean, it has been around for a long time already, so can myself and other Spyderco customers and enthusiasts have the assurance that this particular knife will continue to be manufactured and available, even for many years to come, or is that not a realistic possibility?
This request also applies to the Endura with saber grind and the Endura in general. Does the Endura appear to be such a major seller and desired item of the Spyderco lines, that this will continue to be with us?

Only if you and your like-minded enthusiasts continue to buy them in quantities sufficient to make them economically viable for Spyderco.

I like the shape of the wave E4 but don't care for the wave feature. Might get another one and dremel the wave off. But to the OP, there are no guarantees and you can't ask Spyderco to make knives for practice. If they no sella, they no make-a. Econ 101. The fact that the CEO weighed in on your thread is about as customer friendly as a company gets :spyder: :D :spyder:

That's what pre-need replacements are for.
