Just Ordered New Knives

#1

Post by mineralman55 »

I'm trying to increase my knife collection, and ordered a purple Endura 4 FFG, and a Manix ultra lightweight blue. I can't wait, especially on the Manix. That is one great looking knife. In fact, I may make it a point to get one of each of the Manix line. Wish they'd make some more Sprint versions.

I really wanted a paramilitary2, but of course, none available anywhere. The good folks at Spyderco emailed me and said just be patient, they're coming.

That manix 2 lightweight doesn't get nearly as much love as it deserves, in my opinion. As a backpacking knife, it packs a whole heck of a lot of knife into an extremely light package with great ergonomics. Mine has become my go-to "I want to forget I'm carrying a knife until I need it" knife when I've got a pack with me.

MineralMan55,
Welcome to the forum! Don't suppose you are a mineral collector also?

The Spyderco Manix brings a lot of people in to the knife collecting hobby/addiction. I'm sure you'll love it.

Yeah. quite a collection of minerals as a matter of fact. However, it goes a bit deeper than that though...
