Cost of buying the whole spyderco line-up

#1

Post by Jim Malone »

Does anyone have a clue how much it would cost to buy every model in the catalog at MSRP?
Are there still collectors out there that buy every knife available?
How much does it cost to be a # collector club member?
It's better to be judged by 12 than to be carried by 6

Keep in mind that most knives are available at significantly under MSRP to the extent that you will end up severely overestimating the total cost. The total MSRP is probably 1.5x what it would cost to buy the knives if you poke around for good deals. Just my experience with the MSRP's on these guys.

The answer to your first question can be answered by the retail price guide and a calculator, but as Nifty said, not many people pay MSRP.

Also depends as the op is in the e.u where at least the uk we pay mrsp as ebay banned knife sales.
Unless your on a forum where somebody sells bnib for cheaper then not much choice.
If I became wealthy I'd do just that order everyone :D maybe two of everyone a user and a collection piece.
But then my OCD would mean I'd have to then start the hunt for every blade released from spyderco resulting in a endless carousel of searching for the missing pieces of the jigsaw.
