Another Spydie buy ! Superleaf

#1

Post by Manix Guy 2 »

I went to to the Bloomington Gun and Knife show yesterday and came home with a Superleaf . What a great knife , smooth as butter and love the ergonomics . Looks good next to my Superhawk but better in my pocket . Wish I had bought this knife sooner . Regards MG2

Congrats on the Superleaf :) The blade, lock, action and simple unadorned blade style help it stand out :D Where else can you find 4mm vg-10, FFG, compression lock, in a very simple and elegant leaf shaped blade?? Very user friendly :) Enjoy :)

I have a Manix2 XL and a PM2. I keep looking at the SuperLeaf, but i cant quite figure out how it would compare to the previous 2. I cant quite figure out where the knife is meant to fit.

Well said dbcad and by the way glad to see you are a Dyad fan , I have had the 39 and 44 models for quite some time , big favorite of mine . JudasD I can only tell you to handle one and you will be sold , fits great in hand , as well as or better than my CF Para and as well as my CF Stretch . I only have the Blue Manix but have handled the XL and it feels smaller in hand . Regards MG2

It's quite a bit thicker than both of those, but shorter blade. It's stout and tough. It does occupy quite a bit of pocket space, but if you can deal with that, it gives you a lot of knife and isn't super heavy.

It occupies more pocket space than the Manix XL? i would not be able to deal with that. The XL is pretty much at my size limit. I am ok with longer, but the width of the XL is right at the limit for me.

Superleaf looks very very cool, not my "priority" right now though.
