Any good stores for Spydies in Honolulu?

#1

Post by tr4022 »

Hey, guys, I'm going to Hawaii in a week and a half for a memorial service for my late mother-in-law and some R&R--or at least as much R&R as possible with six-year-old and four-year-old boys in tow.

I was wondering if anyone on the forums who lives in Hawaii might be able to direct me to a good knife store where I can paw some Spydies I don't own yet. Don't plan on buying there unless I find a deal I can't pass up, but it would still be fun to get my mitts on some new Spydercos.

Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can share with me.

Oh... right. You know, I thought about the dealer locator after I posted, slapped my head, and made a Homer Simpson D'oh! sound as I was driving my younger son back from preschool. Yes, yes, I know, I'm an idiot.

Nevertheless, thanks for pointing me in the right direction, Tony.

There is a place called "power edge" that sells some variety of knives but they specialize in air soft guns. They have a website if you want more info.
Also a gun store called "young guns" has a few cases of knives also.
Hope this helps.

you're not an idiot, you just had a brain fart ;) after reading spydie-50's post i remembered that i found an old rare :spyder: at a gun store in Honolulu. You might want to do a search of that and see if any of them have a website to see if they have any spydies. When i first started seriously collecting discontinued Spyderco models i often found them in gun stores.

Hey Tod,

Sorry to hear that your trip is for a memorial service.

When I go to Oahu I will usually try to stop at the two shops Spydie-50 mentioned. There is also a guy at the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet that will have some Spyderco's but good luck trying to get the right boxes.
