Good question, it's been a few years since we saw this proto design. Would be nice to see a GB2 at the next Amsterdam meet :)

I am looking forward to this one as well. Slightly off the subject - GB2 would be a great name for it as well. IMHO :)

Yes, this looks interesting. Looks to be a larger model.

What is the difference between that GB2 and the regular GB? The only thing that it looks like is there are no finger grooves/choils down the handle?

I believe that it is longer, has no choil....thats all I think.

It doesn't look any different from that photo, but speaking of choil, the one thing I'd add to (or at least test with) the GB2 is liner jimping (similar to the Manix2).

i saw it at the amsterdam meet a few years back, the GB2 was going to be a little bit shorter and lighter version of the GB

Agree I saw it at the 2011 Blade show or 2012 Shot show.
Or both. Scaled down a bit as I recall.

Yea, I was getting excited when I thought that it was going to be bigger, not
as stoked about a smaller one. The big heavy CF feel is what I love about the original.
