Just bought my first Spydercos!

#1

Post by harryhurst »

After a lot of research I just purchased my first two Spyderco knives. I picked up a Paramilitary 2 to use as an EDC, and an Assist 2 to keep in with my scuba emergency gear.

I also picked up a sharpmaker and **** am I impressed with how easy it's been to sharpen my leathermans and a couple other older knives. I'm so happy I chose the Paramilitary 2. Feels awesome and I just can't put it down.

I'm looking forward to owning more Spydercos in the future!

I got a Paramilitary 2 recently and a tenacious a while ago. I can't imagine a better knife than the Paramilitary 2. I'm looking to get a small folder like the manbug or ladybug 3 for dress clothes/work when the PM 2 is too large.

Welcome and good on you for getting a Sharpmaker too! Using it and studying the video really changed my look on knives and what I like my knives to do and be.

Start saving money now, it's not to buy more Spydercos but to pay your bills.

Spyderco, once bitten , your done.

It's true. I said "Just one" and got almost a whole year. Then the next month I bought three or four, then two this past week. I can't stop. And nobody on here helps me control it either.

Welcome to the Forum!

The Spyderco Para-Military2 and Spyderco Assist2 were certainly great choices; however, acquiring the Spyderco Sharpmaker to keep those knives sharp is certainly an outstanding decision!

Recommend you consider getting the Spyderco Diamond Tri-Angle Stones for your Sharpmaker.
