Been out of touch with the forum------ my daughter decided to come in to the world on Friday at 5:48am. Brought her home last night. Mom and baby are doing well! The miracle of babies is absolutely indescribeable. She instantaneously has me loving her more than anything and has me wrapped around her baby fingers :D . Now to begin adjusting to sleepless nights, dirty diapers, and late night feedings :D

Let me be the first to offer a very happy “Congratulations” to you and your wife! That is wonderful. Cherish every moment with her, my friend. These will certainly be the best days of your life.
Take care,

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, even if it is wrong.
Congratulations to you and your family, Ryan! What a cutie, I can see in her eyes that she knows she has you wrapped around her finger :D and that's the way it should be. Don't worry...you will sleep again...someday.
Congrats to your family, sir! Parenthood is a wonderful thing and the joys of the world are renewed as you share new discoveries with your daughter.
One word of advice. Do the dirty diapers, especially the #2s, as much as possible. Volunteer immediately when they are discovered. You jump on those grenades for the team and it'll pay huge dividends when you want to take some time out with the boys later on.

"Nothing is so fatal to the progress of the human mind as to suppose that our views of science are ultimate; that there are no mysteries in nature; that our triumphs are complete, and that there are no new worlds to conquer."

Our third child was a girl, an adult now but she still has me wrapped around her little finger.
Congratulations on embarking on one of life's most wonderful excursions.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.
