Want a liner lock ( maybe )

#1

Post by Bradley »

I'm really looking for a new knife, want to spend less than $50. I think I want a liner lock, but really do not like the look of the tenacious (and the others). Does :spyder: make another liner lock under $50? If not, could you recommend another knife?

not that I know of. Other than the value line, the delica and enduras are the cheapest, but all back locks. You'd prbably have to spend twice that, but then your options really open up. Ofcourse I suggest the Gayle Bradley, or Perhaps a Sage 1

No.

I bought a Volpe for $50 once because it was discontinued and unpopular and a Sage 1 for $64 during a special promotion. I can't even think of a liner lock that might get discontinued that you could get for under $50.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

Try to catch a gently used Sage 1. That's a fantastic liner lock, and the smoothest opening knive i've ever held.

I don't think I would get one in my price range.

Things are not always what they seem & the Tenacious is certainly so. So, looks to you has nothing to do with the good budget blade that the Tenacios is. For $24.99 how can you go wrong.

I'll probably end up picking it up hahaha, was just trying to see if I could find a blade I wouldn't be "gambling" on.

I found a used Sage 1 for $65 on fleabay, so you might be able to find one close to your $50 goal. The little bit of extra money will be worth it every time you use the knife and enjoy it. :)

It's not a linerlock, but the plain Jane version of the Manix 2 is probably only a few bucks above the $50 target and is a very sturdy and reliable knife.

If I were you, I would check out some of the Byrd line.

The Raven is a pretty sweet knife.
