Looks like a Military blade, and a Byrd Cara Cara handle after looking more closely, so the title is a bit off ...

They say turnabout is always fair play and that's a good looking knife, perhaps Spyderco should copy it.

The info I have gleaned about this knife is that the maker is Sanrenmu which makes many knives for big name companies like Buck, Spyderco, CRKT, Boker, etc. Sanrenmu supposedly makes excellent quality knives for the money is well respected here in the USA. I have not had one yet but I am very interested in seeing one first hand and checking the quality.

I have been impressed by the quality of the Spyderco knives coming from China like my Tenacious and Byrds for the money. If this company is making knives for Spyderco and the quality is good, it stands to reason that the above knife should exhibit similar levels of quality. From reports I have read, it in fact does.

The only problem is they are not easy to buy in the USA right now. You have to go through a Chinese dealer like Exduct.com and wait weeks to get them at the base price. You could always buy off Sleaze-Bay and pay 2-3 times what you need to if you can't wait but I think they will still be coming straight from China.

A very good reason, apparently "Navy" is the Chinese word for thief.

On a positive note, thank you for your service. :)

I want to know what Spyderco thinks about this one. It is clearly a high quality knife being in the same family as the Byrd and Tenacious line but it looks to be using the Spyderco hole. This company makes Spyderco knives for Spyderco so they may have permission to use the hole.

I thought Navy and Sanrenmu were the same company. It sure reminds me of the Byrd Cara Cara in the texture of the G-10 and the SS liners and whatnot. I would be shocked to learn this was not produced by the same factory that makes the Byrd line. It just looks too much like it in all the little details.
