A Visit to Santa Fe Stoneworks (video)

#1

Post by Mr Blonde »

When I visited New Mexico last year and went through Santa Fe, I simply had to stop by Santa Fe Stoneworks. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Wirtel who gave me a quick tour of the shop and factory. He was also kind enough to let me shoot some video of the excellent knives on display. All the Spyderco knives in this video are part of his personal collection and were -sadly- not for sale. They can make another one though if you'd like one. I encourage any knifeknut to visit SFSW if you get the chance.

Thank you for sharing video. I watch it twice. Gorgeous knives. A lot of them. Especially I love :spyder: with malachite.

Thanks for the video Mr. Blonde, brought back memories of our visit to SFSW this time last year. The Wirtel's were nice folks, though they forced me to buy my first non spydie - a Brontosaurus bone lockback.

Pretty cool, I have never been down there and I know they have much more in the show room than they have on their website. It's cool to see the in and outside of the store!!
