Mom
Mom
This particular forum, though Off Topic, still seems to talk about knives, so I hope my post is alright.
My mom passed away on Friday 08/05/2011, and we buried her this past Monday. I'm not writing this to gather sympathy at all as I am a full believer that she was promoted and no longer has to live in a wheelchair/bed, with most of her sharp as a tack mind no longer functioning as it should. She was an Educator and taught school (3rd Grade) for 40 years.
I guess this is just my way of getting some of this off my chest as I've yet to grieve over this. As I said above, I know my mom is singing in Heaven as I write this, and instead of being weepy and sad about this, I'm celebrating her life for what it was, and the fact that she has truley gone home. I don't mean to say that I not sad that she has gone and that I will miss her, because I do. Rather it is the fact that I will see her again! :)

She will live in the memories of the people she was close to. Everyone she taught will carry a piece of her with them.
A teacher is a noble profession because of the large effect you can see through the lives of the people you teach and how much effect you will have after you are gone.

My condolences for your loss and my respect for your understanding.
"Nothing is so fatal to the progress of the human mind as to suppose that our views of science are ultimate; that there are no mysteries in nature; that our triumphs are complete, and that there are no new worlds to conquer."

I see it as an appropriate post, , ,and an appropriate catharsis to aid in your healing. I do not know your specific pain, as this is one unique only unto your special love of your special mother, but I feel for your loss. She sounds like one of those blessed few who contributed more to this world than many could ever hope to, , , and the sun shines a bit brighter for it. Honor her with your grief, and the hope of reunion when that times comes my Spyderbro
