Perrin Fixed Blade? Your opinion?

#1

Post by ElectricZombie »

I saw this model at the knife shop yesterday, seemed like a very good knife for IWB daily carry. I would use it for utility/SD reasons in additon to my Chinook and Military. How does it perform as an EDC? Does it cut well? How does it carry? Is the pronounced finger choil comfortable for extended period of use? What is your general opinion of this knife?

Secondly, is it possible to purchase a clip for the sheath to allow IWB carry? If so, where can I find one? This is really a big concern since I want to carry it IWB exclusively. Thanks all.

The Perrin is an outstanding knife. A good size and shape for general all round use. A flat grind really helps with cutting and the vg10 is a very good for a stainless steel. I will be using this as my canoe tripping knife this summer. It will replace my Moran trailing point.
