Spyderco Tag-Line Contest Winners

#1

Post by dapagco »

I would first like to thank you for your patience. We had way more entries than we had originally thought and it took a little longer for us to go through all of them. But, after a few days of combing through each of the 230 submissions, we are finally ready to announce the winners of the Spyderco Tag-Line contest!

The Prizes:
A panel of Spyderco Staff members chose a total of 15 winners. The top three will receive a discontinued collectable knife that has been autographed and generously donated for the contest by custom knife maker, Ed Schempp. The remaining 12 winners receive a black, vented baseball hat with the Ed Schempp logo on the front.

1st Place: C105BMP – 75mm Persian Folder PlainEdge
2nd Place: C104BMP – Kris Folder PlainEdge
3rd Place: C83BMP – Persian Folder PlainEdge
4th – 15th: Black, vented baseball hat with custom knife maker Ed Schempp logo on the front.

The Winners
We had a ton of great submissions, and picking our favorite 15 wasn’t easy. If you win, please read the bottom of this post for instructions. Here are our results:

3rd Place – Forum Member Sequimite with the entry: Turning innovative conception into ergonomic perfection – Spyderco.

2nd Place – Forum Member Darkstar with the entry: Spyderco – Giving you an edge when you need it.

1st Place – Forum Member Brucekgreen with the entry: Spyderco – Practical to Tactical.

Runners Up (in no particular order)

woohoo, except for the new Navaja, the Persian is the only Schempp knife I haven't owned.

Thanks again for the contest.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.
