FFG Ladybug 3 in ZDP-189

#1

Post by Copywriter »

Last week I spoke to a customer service rep at BladeHQ.com and they said that the new FFG Ladybug in ZDP-189 should arrive sometime this week. Not sure if any other online retailers will be receiving them this early, but I'm thrilled :D

No word yet on pricing and the picture looks like :spyder: is still using pinned construction for these:

Anyone else have a guess on price and/or whether this one might have screwed construction a la CountyComm's orange handled Ladybug Salts?

That's gonna be one great whittler and edge holder. I can't wait. Thanks for the heads-up.

- best wishes, Jazz.

Maybe we'll get lucky and the Dragonfly ZDP-189 will ship with it!

Was looking at the BRG Stretch on KC...seems a bit expensive, or is that just me?

We're just used to seeing the reduced prices on the blue ones I think....

Probably...seems odd though to pay $20 or more for the BRG.

KC always seems a little more expensive unless it's something on clearance. I checked my usual place on the Dragonfly and it's a $10 price difference.

That's better for sure...though I have a blue that I like better, so for now. I'll probably hold off.

a FFG S30V or H1 Ladybug in G10 and titanium would be the ULTIMATE knife :)

I'm not sure where their information came from, however the LGREP3 has not arrived here yet. I'm sorry to say they wouldn't have them before we do.

We are expecting the first shipment sometime soon, but given the current situation in Japan, there could still be shipping delays.

As Taz has said, the person I spoke with at BladeHQ was misinformed. I called back earlier this week and was told they have no idea when the knife is coming

Sorry to get everyone jazzed up about the FFG Ladybug's arrival. Can't help but hold my breath for this one :D
