Gayle Bradley Pics

#1

Post by racer88 »

It's the "Sherman Tank" of Spydies! Man, this thing is robust! "Built like a tank" really does describe the construction of this folder from Spyderco. And, it feels that way in the hand. It's not a lightweight!

Action is VERY smooth, and the blade is SICK-SHARP! The liner lock is difficult to disengage, though. Very stiff and there's not a big cut-out access like the Sage has, for example.

With no further ado...

Close-up of CF - pretty much identical to the CF on the Sage 1.

Nice pics racer!!! I'll be putting in my order for a Gayle Bradley or two as soon as the bank acct gets replenished. If you don't mind me asking what are you using to capture these fantastic images you've been posting? i.e. camera model and lenses? I've been looking to break into a bit of macro myself lately.

Thanks TE. Honestly, I took these quickly and didn't spend a lot of time setting up.

For these photos, I used a Canon Rebel XSi, a 60-mm Canon macro lens and a Canon ring flash (don't know the model, since I'm at home now).

Fun stuff!

Thanks for the quick info racer. I actually just ordered a Canon Rebel T2i. Hopefully I'll be putting it to good use in the near future. Now I've just gotta get the right lens.

Enjoy the Bradley and keep pumping out those pics they look great!!

Thats one of the nicest blades I have seen for awhile. The hollow grind just sets it off. Thanx for sharing with us.

All of the photos and good reviews have pushed me off the fence. I just ordered a GB and can't wait to compare it to my Paramilitary.
