Does anyone know if Spyderco donated to this fund? I would have thought they were among the industry leaders with an interest in not having any state set precedent in laws that will outlaw their products:

They could have done so anonymously. I would caution against assuming anything based on their name not appearing in one particular release from Doug.

Additional money has been donated anonymously
If they did so anonymously, they wouldn't tell you here either. ;)

I'm surprised to see Wenger among the big donors, consider most of their knives aren't targeted.

It's really none of our business either. ;) Spyderco already tries to produce knives that are legal in many different countries and states with heavy restrictions.

The government has been trying to disarm us since the clinton administration,or at least that is as far back as I can remember the government being so anti second amendment. This is just another way of trying to disarm us as a people.Nothing new to me anyway. :(

It's a matter of who will be the next target...

We donate to both Knife Rights and AKTI. We're not large enough to donate the kind of money the "big Boys" donate.

Knife Rights sincerely appreciates all the support we get, whether it's $10 from an individual or $30,000 from a corporate donor, because every single dollar counts. In the initial announcement email we only listed the donors who have committed to a medallion level status ($5,000 or above), but we will be putting up a page on the Knife Rights site shortly listing all donors who have committed to $500 or more. Spyderco has not yet donated to that level.
