Mmmm...new Delica...

#1

Post by Xibalba »

OK, the addiction has me firmly in its grip...just splurged on a new <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>, a SS Delica with a full SE.

Wasn't gonna buy it for 2 weeks, but when my wife came home from shopping for summer clothes at Talbots, I knew I had found my excuse...

I like the heft, compared to my lightweight Native, but I like the fact that I can both open and close my Native with only one hand. Also, the Native's clip came set for point up carry, making for easier deployment (at least I can move the clip on the Delica). Was the Native designed more for combat and the Delica for work?

Doesn't matter, I like 'em both <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> !!

I like the size of the Delica also. It is only surpassed in my opinion by the Calypso Jr. which is of compairable size but I like the V grind better than hollow grind blades. I am trying at present to get two Delicas both in pink. I have a lead on one in PE and one in SE. I rather the PE but I will get both and let the wife have one and put the other away. Just gave the wife a fushia Jester and I got the lime. Good little knife for small tasks.
