Spyderco on Nikita TV show.

#1

Post by JRSFITNESS »

The television show Nikita which had it's debut tonight showed a spyderco I didn't regognize. The spydie hole was readily visible and it was shaped like a P'Kal but a bit more curved and instead of the straight post that the P'Kal has it looked like the knife was waved.

Anyone see the show and recognize the blade? Possibly it was a knife just for the show.

There's another show based on La Femme Nikita? the series from the 90s isn't enough? The 2 or 3 movies weren't enough?

If you can say about when it was in the show i might be able to get a screenshot of it.

didn't see it, but could it be the Superhawk? http://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=312. It's not waved but otherwise sounds like it.

It looked like the Strider karambit. He used it in the reverse grip with slashing motions.

Ok i just watched the episode and based on my extensive googling i'm goign to say it's a Fox Knives Karambit. Both are waved and have a tear drop shaped opening hole.

It definitely looks like the Fox knives karambit, but the hole was definitevly round, not tear-drop shaped.

Emerson has some waved folding karambits with oval holes, which could look round if the knife was at an angle. Given that it's a TV show, it could also be a custom, or something the prop department made.

It's an Emerson Combat Karambit.
