Someone trying to steel my Salt

#1

Post by Kev-Man »

Was down the Beach taking some shots of the sunset and turtles and decided to put my Salt down.
All shots except the first was shot with lens at 200mm F8 at between 1/13 to 1/8 second exposure hand held.
First time trying to take this kind of shots.

Really? I thought they needed to be a bit bigger before they start tasting good. LOL

Fantastic photos and you are fortunate (or patient) to get such cooperation.
Thanks,

Wow, those pictures are killer. The look of that sand makes me want to become a beach bum. :D Are the sea turtles a regular sight there?

Thanks for sharing. -Zach

Can't blame the crab. I'd grab for your knife too if there was something giving me the "mmm, tasty" look. :D

Great shots. Second from the bottom in particular.

Nothing worse than having to deal with a crabby knife.

Thanks for the replys. The Green Sea Turtles are pretty common on the West Coast of the Big Island.
The pictures were taken at Anaehoomalu Bay. They are there pretty much daily. I was taking some
pictures of the one in the background of the pictures when the crab popped up cleaning the sand out
of his hole after a wave closed it up. I dropped my Salt then a few minutes later he popped up and
did some investigation. I took these the day I submitted my boring picture of the mule for the calender.

These are a few pictures of a couple turtles that just came out of the water.
They don't look as good when thier shells dry.

Kev.

Great pictures. I hate it when someone takes my salt... Interestingly ( and I know I have posted this pic before) this dang dog will grab my salt no matter where it is. He does not show any interest in any of my other Spyderco knives.

I thought maybe it was the coil knot I had on it so I took it off. Suffice to say, this knife has been removed from Dexter's chompers at least a dozen times. What can I say...the dog has good taste.
