This morning, I found the following post on the Belgian knife forum.
Posted by fellow knifemaker Filip de Leeuw aka Deviant11, licenced to use the Spyderhole, btw.

Bone cancer, how can you explain that to a little 6 year old ?

Thing is, he loves getting cards, so I would like to surprise him with card from all over the world. So, if you got 5 minutes, please write him a little card and put it in the mail.

I'll even paypal you the costage for the card and stamp, just let me know.

I know that with every card he recieves, he won't be thinking about his cancer for a couple of minutes.

I hope the mods don't mind me doing this (if there is a problem, just let me know.

No problem at all! There was something similar done with a web page and advertised by a radio station.

I guess a trip down to the tourist section of town is due. :)

I can send him one of my original photos of President Obama, or any of the other presidents I have, do you think he would like that? Or I have a limited edition I shot of Air Force One, that I sign. Tell me which, and we will get it out.

Lost my Mom to cancer. I can only imagine what his parents are going through.

Let me know. I would be happy to do this. Look at my site as we have quite an archive.

I didn't get time to go down there today. When you say card, do you mean post card or do you mean a folding card (like a hallmark) in an envelope?

Thank you Tex.

A photograph of President Obama would be great, Ned.
Great site you have and thank you.

Any is good Donut, whatever it takes, to take the boy's mind away from missery and pain.
Even a simple card coming from a faraway place is magic.
Thanks.

We'll keep the little one in our prayers. And sending cards is the least we can do.

I sent a card. I am praying for that precious little boy.

My daughter just had tumor removed two weeks ago. I know the feeling the parents must be going through.

So a hand made card from both my kids is being sent.
