Gotta Love the Mail Lady - New Spydie Day!

#1

Post by Leatherneck »

I've been waiting on my new Millie and Sage like a kid at Christmas and today both arrive at the same time! No need to ramble on about the quality of these knives as I'm preaching to the choir. I am thrilled with all my Spydies to say the least. The one thing that I was a tad concerned about was the carry of the Millie but she slides right in the front pocket like it was born there. I don't perceive any need for a sheath. The Sage is a pure treat. The textured carbon fiber scales and superb F&F makes it a must have.

My humble Spyderco family thus far.

Great choices.

I would strongly recommend replacing your current EDC with the Millie for a few days. It seems gigantic at first but it shrinks with regular use. A phenomenal cutting tool that carries really well for its size.

No, the Para D2 was my first Spydie. I got her a few months back.

Isn't that CF Sage something?!
I have knives that I prefer for one reason or another (S90V Millie, S90V Manix 2, CF/ZDP189 Stretch, Superhawk, H1 Spyderhawk, etc.), but that CF Sage just keeps hopping into my pocket. Extremely capable, super stylish, comfortable, unobtrusive, non-frightening, and everyone I hand it to just smiles. Lo-ride wire clip, Carbon Fiber, 3" Leaf blade, S30V, so smooth and easy to operate, and the manufacture is just impeccable. I just love the Sage. And it seems to take the best edge of ANY of the S30V I own.
Winner.

Oh, and of course, the best textured carbon fiber on any knife on the market. ;)
