When was the switch made to the newer aluminum backspacers? Do you guys know the date code of when the switch was made? Thanks.

I believe it came about with the release of the d2 military.

Early 2008 perhaps?

I think it was later than the D2 Military. I have never seen a D2 with the aluminum back spacer. I think the first Military with an aluminum backspacer was the digi-camo version.
