The Pacific has been in my pocket for....3 weeks. I've bee cutting zip ties, para cord, Nylon pacкages, preparing food, a bit of woodwork. Usually there are rust spots on the second day...but no...no rust with this one. It keeps an edge well (twice touched up on a ceramic Lansky, I think this is normal...you know you use it..it gets dull...).

I just wanted to say, that i really like the Pacific Salt and that it performes great. It is the perfect EDC. No rust, easy to sharpen, light, big enough....As i said in the оther thread...this one is here to stay.

I've decided that this will be my Christmas present (with that 2 AA LED Victorinox flashlight)

THANK YOU! Thank you! Thank you! I'm sort of proud that i carry and use Spyderco. Someone said here: "Once Spyderco, always Spyderco".

I would like to wish you all A very Merry X'mas and a healthy, lucky....and what ever you think about 2010 YEAR!!!!!

Oh, yea...I'm sorry for any spelling errors :-)

Hello Mitko - an excellent choice for an EDC knife. The Salt series is very, very special and the H-1 steel is short of stunning!
Good luck with your Pacific Salt! Merry Christmas to you too.
Jurphaas. :)

I think the Pacific Salt is one of the best EDC knives Spyderco makes, especially for summertime. I've been gradually thinning mine out by reprofiling it flat to the stone and the performance is very good with a 15 degree per side microbevel. Thin, rust proof, super light and a ful sized, comfortable handle. Everything I like in an EDC.
