So the HoneyBee is definetly great, very affordable knife with a great box for the holiday gift giving season. But it still seems a little too small to me (and I only carry small Spydercos). How about a Spyderco Beetle, a little bigger again.

How do you find out about the next knives to come out?

The grasshopper's been in my thread for weeks. Some find it helpful. It just makes me spend more $ :p

So when you say the next model is the GrassHopper, it sounds like a statement. Do you have inside information?

The HoneyBee is a very nice knife, in my opinion the better of the two knives in this series thus far. The first one (the "Bug") I almost consider to be more of a novelty item than a serious cutting tool. I can't wait to see the next knife in this series, hopefully it will be something serrated :)

I agree, it seemed more novelty to me too (the bug). I like the HoneyBee it just seems still to small to me, and I'm a small Spyderco knife guy.

I couldn't agree more. I just came from the SFO! At least I received a free gift for the money I spent.
