Urban Re-assembly
Hi guys! I was swapping the clip around on an Urban when (I wasn't thinking) pulled the bolt out of the scale. Then I realised " crap this is not a lockback "
Soo... how do you put an Urban back together?
Oh.. and the middle screw does not want to come out and it is smooth on one side.
Can anyone help me out?

I used to NOT like thumbholes. Until I used one.
Just like I didn't like the look of Spyderco knives in general. Until I held one.

In my experience middle screws can have stripped threads and might need drilling out if you really need to disassemble it, but the clip-screw should be fine - what's stopping it going back into place?
My spydies: Squeak, Tenacious, Terzuola, D'Allara, UKPK CF peel-ply pre-production, UKPK CF smooth pre-production, UKPK G10 orange leaf-blade, UKPK FRN grey drop-point, UKPK FRN maroon leaf-blade, Bug ... all PE blades :)
The way I reassembled a UKPK was to remove the blade (put some masking tape on the cutting edge to protect your fingers - just in case) - attach the G10 handles to the back-bar and get the clip-screw and middle screw in place but not completely tight. Then slot the blade into the handle in the open position and align it with the back bar and the pivot screw - you might have to use a narrow screwdriver to push it against the back-bar a little to do this (remember the back-bar keeps a little tension against the tang) and then when it is aligned slot the pivot screw in and then adjust the tightness of all screws to suit. :)

Ahh okay, I have been trying to do it with the blade screwed on first, the pocket clip second. I figured with the two washers this would just be simpler. I will give this way a try, hopefully it works even though I'm not able to loosen the backbar/g-10 screw.
Thank you very much, hopefully I will be able to report back with good news!

Yeah, thinking about it, I probably slotted the blade with the washers attached into roughly the right place - but got the other screws in first (fairly loose) then did the pivot last and lined the washers and blade up with the screwdriver. It's a bit fiddly but it isn't too bad when you have done it a few times :)
