I was just watching the new TV series of "Survivor", 2 teams on a tropical island for a month, seeing who can last the longest.

They are on the boat taking them to the island and have 90 secs to get themselves and their equipment off the boat and into canoes. One guy has the machette (2' of solid steel), he throws it over the side of the boat, his next words in a surprised and disappointed voice was "Oh ... it doesn't float ??" <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Can you imagine surviving a month on a tropical island with no sharp blade.

Some people should not be trusted with sharp objects.

Actually, yog, MANY people should not be trusted with sharp objects. Knives, pencils, Q-tips, you name it.<img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

A floating machete...pretty neat trick! <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Someone like that should not be trusted with anything sharper than a donut. Why on Earth would he believe it could float???

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

Depends on the Donut. He might impale himself on an Eclair.

Hee Hee!

Brings to mind that old statement,

"Sharp as a marble" <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

You're plumb right, Yog, some people would be better off without ANY object with an edge.

Sheesh!<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

LOL, Samo!

Better yet, give him a "Trainer" model. I mean, if he's not gonna' use the blade, at least he can say he "had" a knife!<img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Some people.....<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Peace out,
