Like the carbon fiber, this Ti one is a knife you can't put down, it becomes familiar right away. It's easy to use and put away, just like one you've had for years. There is no "breaking in" (hello Sebenza, Strider) where you wear your thumb out unlocking a "stuck" lug and/or a closed blade that won't open.
Scales-The only thing I needed were jimps on the handle spine to add a little better control. Scales are not slick and don't feel like they could slip in your hand(a concern of mine). Milling flutes in the sides could help in handling, but I don't think it needs it. (yet) As I posted earlier, you can swap scales with the CF one, if you wish for more traction, but again I don't think it needs it. Later I may build a G10 scale for this one?? For now this is one sweet knife.
Blade-As all Spidies is razor sharp. I did a little cutting, first paper with ease, then cardboard zipped through without much drag, then whittle pine it bit into the wood aggressively and cut cleanly. One last test is cutting green oak branches, I require a 1/4" branch to be cut in one try, it did. Then 5/16" and did did not, of course only a Calypso Jr and Stretch has done this so far.
Hand does not get "the burn" easily when useing it hard. The lock lug DOES NOT move over when you use it hard (as some do).
Clip-is set just right, not too tight, in and out of pocket with ease.
What a knife!

With borrowed CF scales.
