What have you carried the longest?
Just thinking... I know some of us have to be carrying some beat up older models.
I've been using (and abusing) a stainless dragonfly since fall '01 (ats-55, no dent), an FRN/SE endura since late '03 (ats-55, no dent, and now no clip), an fb01 moran since early 04, and I've been carrying a military since late '02 (was a CE 440V till '05 when clovisc got it for his work in zambia) though I've only had my CE S30V for a couple years now.
Usually have at least 2 of them on me if not all 4. The moran and endura being near permanent residents on my belt.
For a knife coming up on 8 years of carry the ss 'fly doesn't look too bad (I'll try to get a decent pic compared to the glasshart version still on my storage).
What older models do you guys EDC?

Why do people worry more if you argue with your voices than if you just talk with them? What about if you lose those arguements?
Slowly going crazy at work... they found a way to make the voices work too.

In 2000 I bought a Vesuvius in ATS-34 PE to be my knife I carry from now on. That still sees carry time around the house in waistband. That was one of the first knives I thought about regrinding myself. I planned on doing a higher hollow grind on it, but have not made the time yet.

There been a Kiwi on me since '03, although not always the same one.
:D My Micarta Jester has been on my keyring since then as well, so it would be my single most carried individual knife. Been carrying a Stretch pretty regularly since they first came out but, like the Kiwis, not always the same one.

Been EDC'ing a Wegner Jr since the late 90's - nearly 10 yrs now. I still have my ORIGINAL Delica from the first run, but don't carry it any more (keep it for sentimental reasons, kind of like the lvoe notes from your first girlfriend). But that Wegner is old school. The one I have in hand now is not my original - many have come and gone due to operator error, one broken choil, and several - I'm sure - have been "liberated" by "good" friends out of jealousy. Tried nearly everything out there - nothing comes close to my Wegner Jr for fitting me like a glove....
I have to say my main EDC knife varies from time to time, but the one that has been on my person most consistently is a Cricket. It's small, flat, thin profile makes it pretty hard for me to even notice it's there. Lots of people may scoff at carrying such a small blade, but it is capable of handling most day to day tasks without any issue.
My yellow PE Tasman. I can't remember when I got it, but it has been in my back pocket at least a couple years.

I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.

hmmm. i would probably say some version of the endura. the one that has come the closest to taking its place has been the zdp lum that i have been carrying for a few months but i keep having this nagging voice in my head telling me to switch it out with an endura.

I'm not a fan of the "E4" upgrade... I've got 2 of the "E3" models, ats-55 without the dent and vg-10 with the dent, both fully serrated.
I know what I've put it through without any issues, and when my ats-55 gives it up I'll strip the clip off the vg-10 and put it in the same sheath.
Between the endura and military I don't think there's a lot that can't be cut.

I carried an early 1990s vintage Endura SE for years, until I lost it near the Mexican Border on a law enforcement operation
.
Other than that knife, the one that I have had the longest and which has seen the most use (and continues to see use) is my 440V plainedge Gunting, which has been with me since late in 2000, if I recall correctly. It has been back to the Spyderco Spa for refurbishing once. It still looks good--very good considering what it has been through :D

Although not an official EDC, I have carried and used a Gen I Delica with the G-2 steel, full serrated, black Ti coated blade since 1996 or so.
For general use, I prefer a plain blade but having this knife with its fully serrated blade tucked away in a back pocket is most comforting. Unless I'm off to church, a meeting, or such, the little Delica usually tags along. It makes a perfect third knife to compliment my primary knife, and the ever present SAK Soldier/Pioneer.
The Ti finish has lasted remarkably well over the years. A few tiny scratches, but essentially as good as new.
It is the only Spyderco knife that I sought out and purchased another of, just in case. Hopefully, I'll never use it.
