Very nice work. I especially like the "Barracuda", that's something I would buy! I hope you continue to chase your dream and that it becomes a reality :)

Barracuda would be my favourite. Of course the Tao would be perfect for a Hawkbill. :D

I took a look at the sketches, and it's good that you made everything fit. Including the back lock spring and such. Good work. *thumbup smilie doesn't exist! *

I would buy the barracuda. I loved all the others as well, but the bulkiness of them while closed could be a problem. But I think you are definately on to something, and with a little refining or maybe some tips from Sal you would be on your way. Nice job on the pics too!.... Keep 'em coming.

Barracuda is good but Piranha appeals to me hugely as an addition to the Jester/Ladybug small-knife family................ ;)

Great draftsmanship by the way and what 3D software are you using?

I used 3dS Max and vray renderer.. actually, I designed these concepts last July 2008 and now I'm a better user of 3d stuff, since I'm keeping on studying it.. :)

when I'll have some spare time, maybe I'll design some other concept design knives..

This is another one I designed and realized (with my uncle's help) for a university exam..

Bellisima signor! Wonderful artistry and design! Your second design from a Barracuda head seems to be the modern rendering of the Spanish "navaja" as well other traditional European traditional designs.

you've seen well.. ;) I bought a "navaja" during a trip at Barcelona and it's been somewhat inspirational for the Barracuda design.. It's always important to keep in mind what it's been made before..
by the way, in my desk tray, there are some sketches of another concept design knife I've got in mind, inspired by a tipical Piedmontese knife for mushrooms hunting..
