The bar in Star Wars, the zoo or the mall.

#1

Post by WhiteWillie »

I don't get out much. However, today, I had to go to the local mall which is in a really nice area. Well, I stopped in a Starbucks in the food court for a cup of java and watched all manner of life form pass by.

Several members of the crooked hat crowd passed by and the women at the table nest to me started laughing quietly and pointing discreetly at the asses hanging out of their baggy pants. Do you supose they use velcro to keep their pants from dropping all the way to their ankles. Dressed as world class olympic althletes or circus clowns? I sure couldn't tell.

Really rotund women walking sround in short tops and hip huggers. My God, do they not own mirrors?

I'm telling ya guys and gals, the mall has at least as many species to obseerve as the zoo or the Star Wars bar and, it closer and free.

Huh, no kidding right. The thing about common decency and common sense is that there is in fact nothing common among us. Only the majority having it allows the term common to be used.

But is your local mall similar to the Star Wars cantina in that you will not find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy? Can you find a good pilot there with a fast ship to sneak you away from the forces of evil? ;)

My wife works in the mall and on occasion will go have lunch with her. It is the largest concentration of wierdos in the state. Kids running around in leather pants with a dozen chains hanging off of them. Very strange creatures they are.

Remember all those people likely think you look just as silly. Maybe someone is even making fun of your style preferences on a baggy pants or XXL tube top forum right now?

I suspect you're right Jeff. I just hope I've provided them with as much entertainment as they provided me. To each their own I guess.

My Dear Friends,

Every time I go to the mall I manage to be completely surprised by what I encounter. A few years back it was a custodian who looked exactly like Jame Gumb aka "Buffalo Bill" from "The Silence of the Lambs". Creepy.

The most odd was a convention of "little people" that was in town - everywhere I looked it was like something out of the "Wizard of Oz." Just surreal.

This country is in a downward spiral of moral decay. Were in living in a time where right is wrong and wrong is now considered the right thing.

Nah, I'm just invisible.

Unless I'm wearing my green shirt that says "Green shirts are for pimps", that shirt seems to attract the attention of a certain type of people...
